Our Team
Our experienced and highly qualified staff are carefully selected through our safe recruitment process here at Starchild Nursery. All of our practitioners are DBS checked and thorough references are carried out to ensure the safety and well-being is paramount of the children within our care.
Our practitioners are all an absolute asset to this nursery, who all bring something different to the table, making us fit together like a giant jigsaw puzzle! We actively encourage and support those who want to start their carer in childcare and therefore have apprentice practitioners working throughout the nursery alongside our qualified childcare practitioners. At Starchild Nursery, we often refer to ourselves as one big happy family! Team work is an absolute necessity and we all support each other to ensure that we provide a safe, loving and educational home from home environment!

Bex started here in Malton on our very first day back in 2019 and has been a driving part of how the nursery runs and enriches the lives of the children it cares for.
She leads a very capable team of nursery practitioners who strive to provide the most loving childcare possible.

Victoria (Deputy)
Victoria (or Tor for short) helps to manage the nursery on a daily basis and is a contact for parents and children. Tor joined us in 2020 and leads the preschool room.
